British:
I was born and grew up in Welwyn Garden City,
Hertfordshire, England.
Married to John Bowman.
We live with our dogs 'Flapper' and
'Rufus' in our wild and swampy paradise
in the Ontario, Canada countryside
along with the numerous deer, beavers, coyotes,
foxes, herons etc who merrily roam the area !

I started flying when I was 16 and hold the following
pilot's licences and ratings
Commercial Pilot's Licence-Aeroplanes
Single and Multi-Engine Land and Seaplane Ratings
Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
Flying Instructors Rating
Transport Canada[Air] authorization to pilot ornithopters

AEROPLANE TYPES FLOWN
25 different types of single and multi-engine,
land and sea, piston-engined aeroplanes.
ORNITHOPTERS-[Flapping Wing Aircraft]
First test-pilot of the Delaurier/Harris/UTIAS
ornithopter C-GPTR from 1995 to Aug 10/2001.
Carried out all the initial prototype testing up to
and including the first lift-offs and a maximum
speed of 56mph.

CURRENT { From 2003 }
Now working full-time developing an ornithopter of
my own design {"Nightingale"} and hope to start
the testing later this year.
